What is Intellidance®

Intellidance® offers a fun and creative way to teach movement and music to young children. Built on early childhood development, educational research, and proven methods, our classes are designed to make learning fun—on purpose!

What makes our program unique is how we combine music AND movement to create a whole-brain learning experience.

The Intellidance® child-learning philosophy follows the following three tenants:

Each child is a unique individual and will be respected as such.

  • Expertly facilitate caregivers and their students

  • Identify, replicate and teach movement and music concepts

  • Synthesize movement and music connectivity to support robust early childhood development

  • Understand, apply and evaluate hierarchical learning progressions that allow children to receive, respond and value self-expression and artistry
  • Apply, analyze and evaluate programming activities based on individual children’s needs

  • Facilitate transition activities and classroom management practices using brain- compatible techniques that encourage sustained engagement
  • Confidently synthesize intuitive responses with evidence-based practices to increase awareness of Intellidance®’s Fun on Purpose methodology

  • Implement classroom practices that support the physical, social and emotional safety of the child
